---------- SELECTION GUIDELINES -----------
1. Select a Capacity - The capacity you select must be greater than the COMBINED weight of your heaviest forklift and the heaviest weight of anticipated loads it will carry.
2. Select a Usable Width - The width should be at least 15 inches wider than the widest equipment to be used on the ramp. Standard widths 70" and 84". Other widths quoted upon request.
For Rail Car Loading - Select a ramp width wide enough to prevent the forklift from hitting the curbs when turning into the rail car. Consult your forklift manual for turning radius capabilities.
Make sure the width you select will fit the door openings of your rail cars.
3. Select the Proper Length and Type of YARDRAMP Required
-- 30 ft. straight primarily for ground to dock applications where no level-off is required.
-- 36 ft. level-off type has a 6 ft. level-off at the end adding maneuverability for forklifts. Allows easier turning access into rail cars and pallet handling next to doors. Popular where end-loading is required.
